Ingredients

The Basics

Let’s start with the foundation – those trusty tortilla chips. They need to be both crispy and strong, ready to take on the toppings without crumbling. Lay them out on cast iron pan or a baking sheet.

The Star: Carne Asada

Now, let’s talk about the star: carne asada! Marinated, grilled steak brings a smoky, savory punch to the party. Seasoned with spices that’ll make your taste buds dance, these juicy slices will have guests begging for the recipe.

Cut your meat into thin strips or chunks however you like it. Cook the meat on the stove on medium until cooked til desired crispiness.

The air fryer also works wonders with the Carne Asada. You can cook the meat at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. This definitely browns the meat way more.

Red Pepper and Garlic Mix In:

While the Carne Asada is cooking. Slice your Red Bell Pepper into thin strips and chop your Garlic.

Once your Carne Asada is mostly cooked then add the Garlic and Red bell pepper to soften.

Stack ’em Up

When the Carne Asada and Bell pepper are cooked. Now comes the fun part – assemble your masterpiece! Layer chips, stack carne asada, sprinkle cheese, and let the toppings fall like confetti.

Into the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Slide your creation into the oven for 5 minutes, watching closely. You’re aiming for melted cheese and golden edges. It’s like waiting for your favorite tune to drop.

Once your cheese is all melted you can remove it from the oven.

Topping Fun

Time to play with toppings! Dice tomatoes, red onions, jalapenos, and sprinkle on fresh cilantro. Want creamy goodness? Dollop sour cream or velvety guacamole. Add black beans or corn for extra flavor.

The Big Reveal

Ding-ding-ding! The timer goes off, and it’s reveal time. Pull out your creation, and the aroma is as captivating as the anticipation of digging in.
