Sliced Limes and Cherries for Decoration
Instructions
Squeeze the lime to extract fresh lime juice, ensuring no seeds fall into the juice.
In a cup, combine the lime juice and as much sugar to your taste if you would like to add sugar.
Stir well until the sugar dissolves completely, creating the limeade base.
* I didn't add any sugar to mine because I like it a little tart and I think the cherry syrup adds just enough sweetness.
Pour the cherry juice into the cup.
Mix gently to combine the cherry and lime flavors, creating a beautiful reddish-pink hue.
Taste the mixture and adjust the sugar or lime juice as desired for a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess.
Just before serving, add ice cubes to the cup to keep the drink cool and refreshing.
Fill the cup to the top with Topo Chico sparkling water and give it a stir to meld all the flavors together.
Garnish each glass with a lime slice and a few fresh cherries.
For an extra touch, add a sprig of fresh mint leaves to complement the fruity flavors.
